Monroe Township Hoops Association

Our in-town recreation program is for Monroe Township youth players of all skill levels to learn the game of basketball. 

The Recreation program provides a competitive atmosphere, but one in which all participants play a significant portion of each game.

No Tryouts, all players assigned to a team! 

Open to Monroe Township Residents 

Grades K-12

All games are played at the Monroe Community Center or school gyms within Monroe Township. Limited practices, 1 game per week.

Schedule: 

Mid August: Registration Opens

December: Registration Close & Team Rostering

Jan - March: League Season

The Monroe Township Travel Basketball Program’s mission is to develop and nurture a highly competitive and challenging playing environment in which players are enabled to develop the proper basketball skill sets and sportsmanship qualities suitable for the Middle and High School levels of the sport. 

Limited roster spots, all players must tryout each season. Must be a Monroe Township or Jamesburg Resident.

Games are played at various locations in Central New Jersey, with some teams traveling further outside of the area. Multiple Practices / Games per week.

Aug - Registration & Tryouts 

Sept - Nov: Pre-Season Training  

Dec - March: Winter Season (primary season)  

April - June: Spring Season (optional)
